This week my colleague, friend, and I completed three assessments on my communication style and skills. Going into this I felt confident that I am an excellent communicator. The results did show that I am a good communicator with room to improve upon my skills. Those areas of improvement that was found I was already aware of except the pros and cons of being people oriented.
I always viewed being a people person as an all positive attribute.While this style is positive it can also cause interference in my judgement based on the description on the rating scale. This was a great exercise for self reflection in our professional and personal life.
